Arranging a Funeral
We offer a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year personal service.
Our service to you starts as soon as contact is made by yourself or someone you nominate on your behalf. This contact could either be over the phone or by popping into our premesis on Captain French Lane in Kendal.

Depending upon the circumstances of the death the next stages may differ but you can be assuered of our closest attention at all times.
If the death was expected at either a private address or a nursing home will be able to convey the deceased to our private chapel of rest in Kendal. We would arrange a time with yourself to come and collect them and in a dignified and proffesional manner, bring them into our care.
In some cases the coroner will require the deceased to be conveyed to a hospital mortuary awaiting their decision on whether a post mortem or other examination is required.
We are also able to arrange funerals where a death has happened anywhere in the UK or abroad and can help you to understand the processes involved at every stage.
At a time to suit you, we will arrange an appointment to meet you either in your home or at our premesis to make the funeral arrangements. Unfortunalty due to the current restrictions we are only able to undertake telephone appointments but you can still be assured of our high level of personal attention at all times.
At this time we will discuss all the funeral options avaliable and guide you through the process of completing all the paperwork to ensure the funeral can go ahead as you wish. We will take care on your behalf all the paperwork, liase with doctors, ministers, musicians, caterers, venues, coroners etc. as appropriate so that you have the piece of mind that things are being done correctly and with minimum stress to yourself at this already difficult time.
